Anyone know what's currently a good live Linux distro for running memory tests and the like? I want to finish chucking together my computer tomorrow, and maybe torment it a bit before beginning the arduous process of giving it back Windows. (SOB!)

I swear I'd live on OS X, except there are things I want to do and just can't find the native software to allow me to do them.

Watchmen -- on mighty BLU-RAY
My mom works at Blockbuster, so I get to watch the new releases before they come out, and last night I watched the Blu-Ray director's cut of Watchmen, and it was awesome. I still want to see it on the big screen, though, for a couple of reasons, one of which being I desperately need to go to New York again, especially since I will not be living there again in September.

In other news, still no keyboard fixin'. I'm starting to get pissed. I want to start writing again, ffs.

NCIS mistake?
I'm not sure if it is or not, though.

This is the episode with Tony and Ziva locked in a shipping container, I don't know the name but it's one of the ten or fifteen episodes that USA seems to *really* like a lot because I have seen it about four times. Which leads to another question as to why I never heard this statement before.

Tony found some money in the container and said it was counterfeit, and the way he could tell was the smell, he said that he could smell the ink, but that our money doesn't smell like ink.

So, was this a mistake, or does this mean that every single new or even semi new bill I have ever gotten was counterfeit? Or possibly it means that once again, I am smelling something that most people can't? I swear sometimes I think maybe I am hallucinating smells, except for when I actually find the thing that I smelled and no one else can, thus vindicating myself and getting my nose labeled as freakish. Which, I suppose, it is.

I wonder if I could get a job with airport security. I wonder if I would really want to compete with dogs for employment.

First time poster.........please be kind......
Right, I was just sort of speculating on what might happen in Season Six if House, while speaking with a therapist at Mayfield, might have his relationship with Wilson analyzed by an unbiased, third party (namely House's therapist). I thought the conclusion could go one way or another: either the therapist determines House and Wilson actually love each other (platonically and/or romantically, either one) or decides their relationship is way messed up and should probably end. So I wrote this. Beware of changes in tense, and the transferring of pronouns. Gets tricky. No real spoilers, unless you were for some reason unaware that House was in a mental care facility by the end of Season 5.

If you are wondering why I have not been posting or replying to your entries that much, it is because Apple still hasn't gotten the parts to fix my damn keyboard yet, so typing is a pain in the ass, especially when there isn't really anything to talk about.

Since I won't have any loans to pay off just yet, I've been indulging in a few luxury items. Like a Watchmen mug. And a Rilo Kiley CD. And The Bicycle Thieves. The last two aren't here yet (ordered them online), but yes. I also got The Sims 3! :DDD Early birthday present from the Momster. I've been having fun psychologically destroying virtual children for life by giving them neglectful mothers who never talk to them and who slut it up with everyone in town. Werrrd.

Surely I can't be the only one desperately trying to figure out what a certain thing that happened in An Invisible Thread means for the Petrellis in Vol 5?

I've just made a very tl;dr post about it and would love your discussion/spec about it, either in reference to my post, or really just in general. (Post does contain some actor quotes about next season, though of the vague and mainly speculative kind, rather than the "in episode 3, this will happen" variety.)
